The Fabergé Big Egg Hunt concluded this weekend in Covent Garden. The eggs had previously been hidden all over London in an attempt to achieve the Guinness World Record for the Most Participants in an Egg Hunt. 12,773 people took part in the last six weeks and it was announced yesterday they had smashed their target.
The eggs have all been auctioned off to raise funds for Elephant Family and Action for Children.
I was heading in to London on Friday anyway so had a little walk around to see all the eggs together. There were so many people taking photos and lots of excited children (and adults) ticking off the last few eggs on their egg hunt sheets. I meant to have these up for Easter morning- sorry.
and then on the way home I thought I'd just go and see if there were less people hanging about... I think I might need to get a tripod if I keep taking photos in the dark!!
Should anyone be looking for Superwoman. It's OK. I found her, she's a little bit tipsy but a pie will sort her out and she'll back to her super self in no time.

these photos are fab, as are those eggs! i am in love with the incredible bird nest meets globe design, so beautiful. i'm so jealous of your weekend trips, you make me want to get myself out more. xx
