So, I'm practising what I preach. Best British Bloggers have initiated a campaign for MoneySupermarket.com. You have to create outfits that fit the categories 'casual wear', 'party wear' and 'holiday' and each one has to be under £200. Find out all the details here.
Each category is judged for a £200 prize and then an overall winner is in the running for £1,000 to spend on CLOTHES! oh yes. I could seriously do with that so here's my entry:
Casual:
Party:
If you click on any of the outfits you can see a shopping list on Polyvore.
UPDATED AFTER POSTING: Hmmm. I've just re-read the entry information and it's supposed to reflect the trends of 2013. These are just things I like. That should always be more important than trends.

You are right. What you like should always be more important. And what you know fits you... like an old Mexican saying says: "De la moda, lo que acomoda" (Something along the lines of "From fashion, take what suits you).
ReplyDeleteI really like your outfits though, specially the first two!
I think that trends seem to matter less and less as time goes on and people get inspiration from a wider variety of sources so going with that you like is more important than ever. As usual I particularly love your casual outfit as I love jeans - and I really like the look of those H&M shoes so might check them out (I also need to treat myself to something from Chi Chi Dee at some point - everytime you post about that shop I remember how great it all is - and getting better)
