When I started this blog in January 2012 it was going to be a place to put all the links I was sending my sisters by text or Facebook. They don't have the Internet addiction I do so when I see things they'd like I send them over and I thought it made more sense to have that all in one place. It still is that a little bit and I know my littlest sister checks in on her lunch break and commute home.
After I joined Twitter and 'met' some other bloggers it become my little outlet to blog about the things my four year old doesn't understand and my husband is bored of listening to. It's hopefully also going to make me improve my photography skills as I really want to master the 'manual' setting on my camera.
If I'd known other people were going to read it, I probably wouldn't have called it Skin and Blister but I paid for the domain and I like it so I'm going to keep it, even if it's a bit weird. Being a sister is one of the most important things to me. I am a lioness of a sister. I love my siblings with all my heart so the blog title just seems to fit.
I love blogs. I really think everyone should have a little corner of the Internet. Isn't it cool that that's possible? I think so.
In this little corner you will find things I've been up to mixed with things I'd like to do or make. I sometimes talk about things people have sent me but not very often and only when they are something I really like. I always have a little disclaimer at the bottom of those posts so you know when I've been given something to blog about.
You can email me skinandblisterblog@hotmail.co.uk and I'm on Twitter here.

I always wanted a sister but was blessed with a big brother instead.
ReplyDeleteI love reading your blog. I'm also a Leigh girl and have recently started my own blog about all sorts of nonsense. I hope that one day, once I get the hang of it, mine can be somewhere as fab as yours.
